Benetti Macchine SpA is a world leader in the production of marble and granite quarrying machinery. Founded in 1926, the brand constantly strives to achieve the highest standards of production quality and offer increasingly innovative solutions. Its mission is to create cutting-edge solutions for its customers, satisfying every type of need and expectation.
Over the last two years, Benetti Macchine has worked intensively on the design and production of new, more efficient and innovative cutting machines and on the improvement of existing ones, expanding its production capacity with a new 1,000-square-meter warehouse.
Particular attention has also been paid to streamlining the new “Benetti Macchine Service,” which encompasses all interventions and services provided immediately after the purchase. The new service focuses on two main areas: Customer Service and the sale of original Benetti Macchine spare parts and consumables.

History
During the ‘70s, the activity of Benetti Macchine is concentrated in the development of wire machines for the quarries and the internationalization process starts.
The fact that the Company is located in Carrara is a strategic strength factors for Benetti Macchine: the exchange of experience and knowledge with the Carrara marble quarries, the oldest and largest in the world, represents an exceptional value for a machine manufacturer in this industry.
From supplier of tolls and accessories for the quarry world, Benetti Macchine in the ‘70s starts to develop and manufacture wire machines and in the ‘90s increase the machine offer with a number of chain saw and belt machines that represent a revolution in productivity and safety in the quarries.
During the ‘80s, Bendiam is founded: a company that manufactures wires, belts and tools to supply our clients also with accessories for our machines wherever in the world. The family has always been the engine of the Company: Aldo Benetti supports his brother Enrico, then Enrico’s son, Federico, and the nephew Maurizio Martinelli start working in the Company in those years.
In the same period, Benetti Macchine builds a very strong sales network (agents, representatives and distributors) which quickly becomes one of the strength point of the Company. In virtually every country of the world with marble, granite and stone quarries there is an agent of Benetti Macchine. This makes it easy to assist and support the After Sales activity, key factor for such sophisticated machinery.
In 1996, a great party salutes the 70th anniversary of the Company, during the International Marble and Machines Fair in Carrara. All national and international agents and some clients of Benetti Macchine participate to this important event.
In the last 20 years, the Company grows even more, especially in the chain saw machine business, investing important resources in the Technical Office and in the renovation of the manufacturing plants. The sales network is improved and reinforced every year in order to cover in the best possible way the over 50 countries where Benetti Macchine machines are sold.
Currently Benetti Macchine is managed by the third generation of the Benetti family: Federico Benetti together with his brother-in-law Giorgio Bianchini. The Company keeps investing in innovation, human resources and in the development of machines more and more high tech, performing, sustainable and that operate in high safety conditions.
Production areas
Production includes the full range of machinery and tools needed for quarrying squared stone and is carried out in an industrial complex in Nazzano, Carrara, using CNC machines that guarantee a high level of quality and performance.
Management consistently invests heavily in machinery and human resources: CNC milling machines and other machines have been added to production in recent years, demonstrating the company’s commitment to producing all its technical machinery in Italy.
The final assembly of each individual machine is carried out in-house by teams of qualified personnel who, upon completion, perform a final inspection to verify compliance with specifications.
The process is continuously performed and monitored by means of updated tools and by highly qualified personnel, who has developed over the years a strong sense of belonging to Benetti Macchine S.p.A
Technical office
Innovation and experience are the driving force behind Benetti Macchine. All mechanical, electrical, and electronic design is developed in-house at the Technical Office, ensuring complete control over the manufacturing process.
A team of specialized engineers and technicians ensures the continuous development of the machines, integrating customer requests with internal developments.
Market suggestions and innovations driven by the sales and technical experience of the company’s staff are quickly implemented. Projects are developed using modern three-dimensional CAD technologies to ensure the necessary accuracy and detail in production. Innovative ideas take shape and are translated into products in the Technical Office.
The resulting expertise is the primary guarantee of quality and reliability that Benetti Macchine Spa provides with its machinery. Product design is mostly managed in-house, with a highly computerized process: modern automatic machine tools and advanced processing technologies are used, allowing the company to achieve the high quality standards required while simultaneously reducing processing times.
Benetti Macchine is able to guarantee the high level of professionalism of its staff, thanks to regular quality controls of incoming and outgoing materials, including rigorous testing of the finished product. All machines produced by Benetti Macchine, in addition to offering high quality standards, allow the operator to use them in maximum safety conditions.
